Marissa L. Morelle

Marissa L. Morelle, of counsel to the Firm, is engaged in a broad-based corporate practice focused on business combinations, corporate finance, securities law and corporate governance.  Ms. Morelle represents clients across a wide variety of corporate and financial matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings and emerging company organization and advice and securities offerings and reporting.  In addition to her transactional experience, Ms. Morelle counsels clients on a range of corporate, securities and other commercial matters, including disclosure issues and duties of directors.  Her diverse group of clients includes public companies, privately held (including start-up) companies, financial institutions, investment funds, family offices and high net worth individuals.

Ms. Morelle’s experience spans both law firm and in-house settings.  Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Morelle was associated with the firms of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP and Lowenstein Sandler LLP.  She also has served as in-house counsel to a New York Stock Exchange listed company.

Ms. Morelle received her B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her J.D. from New York Law School, where she was a member of the New York Law School Law Review.  She is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
